On November 28th, Wang Xiangxi, Minister of Emergency Management, came to Xuzhou to investigate the fundamental work of ensuring safety in production. Ma Xin, member of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Deputy Governor, Song Lewei, Secretary of the Xuzhou Municipal Committee, Yin Benjie, Director of the Office of the Ministry of Emergency Management, Yang Xinzhong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Provincial Government, Jiang Feng, Director of the Provincial Emergency Management Department, Wang Jianfeng, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Committee and Mayor, Wang Xianzheng, member of the Municipal Committee and Deputy Mayor, Zhang Ke, member of the Municipal Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone, and Gong Weifang, Deputy Mayor, attended the event. Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG Group, accompanied the exchange and report.

XCMG Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. passed the national safety production standardization level one enterprise certification in 2006 and has repeatedly won the title of advanced safety production unit at all levels. Wang Xiangxi listened to the report on the development of XCMG's emergency rescue equipment industry and the overall operation of the safety management system. He affirmed the achievements made by XCMG in adhering to the path of innovative development over the years and requested the company to continue to adhere to innovation leadership, establish a bottom-line thinking, and strictly and meticulously implement all aspects of safety production with a sense of responsibility of "never feeling at ease". He emphasized the need to move the focus of work forward, persistently and consistently, to create a safe environment for high-quality development of enterprises.

During the investigation in Xuzhou, Wang Xiangxi pointed out the need to deeply implement and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on safety production and the important speech on Jiangsu's work, firmly establish the concept of safe development, strengthen source control and risk-based control, focus on key industries, and carry out in-depth inspections and rectification actions for major hidden dangers, effectively preventing and resolving major safety risks. Enterprises should strictly implement the main responsibility for safety production, carry out routine inspections and rectification of risks and hidden dangers, and strictly control risks throughout the entire chain, continuously improving the level of intrinsic safety. Efforts should be made to seize new opportunities for the development of the safety emergency industry, strengthen the research, development, and allocation of major equipment, lightweight equipment, and unmanned intelligent equipment, accelerate the promotion of a Chinese-style modern emergency management system and capacity building, and strive to provide high-level security guarantees for high-quality development.
